Marinated Steak
Quick, easy, and juicy weeknight steak recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Skirt Steak or Flank Steak
- 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tbsp Agave or Honey
- 2 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Cilantro
- 2 Juice of a lime
Instructions
- In a bowl or bag, mix together all the marinade ingredients. Oil, Worcestershire Sauce, Agave. Minced Garlic, Salt, Pepper, Red Pepper Flakes, Cumin, Cilantro, and Lime Juice.
- Add the steak to the bowl / bag and put in the refrigerator over night (you can marinate for less time but the longer its marinating the better)
- Remove the steak from the refrigerator 30 minutes prior to cooking.
- Heat your griddle (or griddle pan on the stove) to a medium-high heat.
- Cook your steak for 2-4 minutes per side.
- Remove your steak from the heat and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes on a cutting board or plate.
- Slice into 1/4" slices against the grain and enjoy your steak!
